La Plage du Rouet

Plage du Rouet is one of Carry’s largest supervised beaches. A picture-postcard setting, it offers a panoramic view of Marseille harbor. Divided into three sections, there’s a sandy or pebble beach for everyone to spread out their towel or relax on a deckchair. A nearby parking lot makes parking easy.

Cap Rousse Beach

Nestling in the heart of a rocky cove, Plage du Cap Rousset is sheltered from the wind. It’s an ideal spot for swimming with young children and for those who want to learn to swim in the sea. Easily accessible on foot or by car (with parking), it’s a very pleasant family beach.

Fernandel Beach

Bearing an emblematic southern name, Plage Fernandel is a small spit of sand that can be discovered from the Quai du Professeur Vayssière. Nearby restaurants offer tasty refreshments after your nautical efforts.

Calanque de la Tuilière

It’s a natural cove strewn with large pebbles. La Tuilière is a little paradise for regulars, who come here for a quiet swim. From the town center, it’s a 30-minute walk to a totally different setting. A restaurant overlooks La Tuilière, where you can round off a pleasant day at the water’s edge with a succulent seafood platter. From here, it’s impossible to take your eyes off the exceptional panorama.

Calanque des Eaux Salées

It’s a small, wild cove that you’ll discover after just a few minutes’ walk. The Calanque des Eaux Salées is a beautiful sight to behold. The turquoise waters of the sea stand out harmoniously against the green of the surrounding pine forest. Calm and transparent, it’s a natural invitation for a swim. As for the large pebble beach, it’s an ideal natural solarium for idlers. The calanque is also a favorite spot for kayaking enthusiasts.
